This project which included the reconstruction for utility relocation and a ground up two story science building and site work was quite unique. Due to the complexity of the site utility relocation the project was completed in two phases. Phase I consisted of clearing the site, relocation of existing wet and dry utilities around the future building location and design coordination and installation of new electrical service with Edison.
The work under Phase II consisted of the erection of the upper level classroom building with a lower set of mechanical and electrical rooms. The area of construction was pie-shaped and had 23 ft of fall from north to south. The site work included an elaborate storm drain system.
