Luis Balam

Luis began his career in construction in 2001 as a laborer for a small contractor. After a few months he joined the Carpenter’s Local 409 in Los Angeles as an apprentice.

Through the Carpenter’s Union Luis was sent to a trade school at Rio Hondo College, where he became a highly skilled carpenter.

Luis is well rounded with experience in concrete, framing, drywall, rough carpentry and plumbing.

Outside of work, Luis loves spending time with his daughter, hiking, swimming, and cheering on his sports teams the Raiders and the Dodgers.
