Ryan McCombs

Ryan joined the Slater Builders Team in 2024 as a Project Engineer. Previously, he worked on large-scale multi-family projects, helping manage over 300 units and specializing in both garden and podium styles. Ryan also has practical experience as a carpenter’s apprentice and in plastering. His love for construction began early, inspired by working with his father, a general contractor, on a variety of projects ranging from rental remodels to medical office buildings. These experiences have provided Ryan with the expertise and skills needed to thrive in different construction ventures.

When he’s not working, Ryan leads an active lifestyle, enjoying activities such as surfing, bodysurfing, diving, golf, hiking, and running. He loves to travel in search of uncrowded waves in remote areas or to challenge himself during the best swells at local spots. Every year, he eagerly anticipates lobster season and his next opportunity to get in the water. In the afternoon, you’ll often find him leading the pack at his friends’ run club, or out on the links chasing that next low score.
