Bay Shores Peninsula Hotel

The Bay Shores Peninsula Hotel is located at the intersection of West Balboa Boulevard and 18th Street in Newport Beach, California. This prime spot lies adjacent to Marina Park and “Baby Beach,” conveniently positioned just a short distance from Newport Bay to the north and Newport Beach to the south.

This project focused on converting a 13,395-square-foot, 25-key hotel into a luxurious boutique destination. The revitalization included architectural enhancements featuring a new thematic design in a contemporary Cape Cod beachside style, applied to the entire building façade and all exterior finishes.

Interior redesign was undertaken for all guest rooms and amenity spaces. Structural upgrades included the installation of a new elevator and the expansion of the existing roof deck amenity, which was enhanced with upgraded finishes, decorative landscaping, lighting, and furniture. There was also a complete renovation of the kitchen and dining area on the first floor.
