Slater Builders offers a proactive Preconstruction approach, partnering with owners and architects to assess every aspect of a project and deliver accurate pricing based on the latest set of drawings from project inception to completion. We provide comprehensive construction and design services to a diverse range of clients, assisting with financing, Preconstruction, planning, design, entitlement permit processing, and construction. As a team, Slater Builders assembles and coordinates the skills and talents of professionals in all areas of the design process, supporting experts and consultants in key development principles such as conceptual planning, construction management and design/build. Notable development projects include Santa Teresita Master Plan, Santa Teresita Cottage I & II, The Retreat, Cadence Park, Balboa Bay Yacht Club, Trico Pacific Center, Memorial Care Medical Office Buildings, Big Canyon Country Club, and Bay Shores Hotel to name a few.
Design/Build | Design/Assist
Slater Builders' experience in design/build and design/assist projects has been utilized frequently over the last 3 decades due to our long-standing project management experience in the construction industry. Projects completed include an eight-million-dollar project for Mount St. Mary's College that included a residence hall and a 150-car parking structure. We have also completed numerous projects for the Shea Foundation and the Los Angeles Catholic Archdiocese, as well as a 75,000 square foot warehouse design-build renovation in Costa Mesa for ABC Bus Sales. Currently we have a renovation for the Carmelite Sisters to design build their St. Joseph Campus, as well as 4 design assist restaurant TI projects and the Bay Shores Hotel in Newport Beach. As the design-build contractor, Slater Builders’ responsibilities include coordinating and managing the architects, subcontractors, engineers, and consultants, regarding the production of their plan drawings. We also work closely with the owner to achieve the desired scope and appropriate budget.
